Boughton Monchelsea Place is an Elizabethan stone-built manor house. It stands in its own estate of 165 acres which includes walled gardens, a private deer park with lake, and woodland. The house is reached by a gravelled 1km drive which winds through private woodland before sweeping round to the house. From the long formal lawn in front of the house there are glorious views down over the deer park and many miles of unspoilt Kent countryside.
The conference or meeting room we call the Gun room is full of character. Log fires burn in winter; flowers from the garden perfume the house in summer. The room is furnished in country house style in keeping with their primary function as part of a family home, but where practicable we are happy to take out or bring in items of furniture to suit your requirements.
If you are considering using Boughton Monchelsea Place for your event you are most welcome to come for a site visit. Please do not attempt to visit us, however, without an appointment. Telephone between 8:30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, to arrange a viewing.
